The NATO military alliance has responded to repeated airspace violations by Russian drones and fighter jets with a clear and decisive reaction.
In a statement released following consultations in Brussels, the alliance warned Moscow with the threat of violence not to continue such provocations. All 32 member states stressed that they would use all necessary military and non-military means in accordance with international law to defend themselves and ward off threats from all directions.
