The tragedy took place in the early morning hours at Maduagwu's apartment in the Katampe district of Abuja. Armed intruders entered her home, prompting the presenter to try desperately to save her life by jumping from the window of the third floor. The police found the severely injured young woman unconscious on the ground and immediately took her to the hospital.
