Billion-Dollar Treasure Hidden in Switzerland? Lawyers from several continents are currently investigating what may have happened to a billion-dollar Nazi treasure. Allegedly, it disappeared 78 years ago. A trail found in Argentina seems to lead to the Swiss bank Credit Suisse. It appears that investigations have also been carried out there - but the bank remains silent! Will the billions be found now - and where exactly does the treasure come from?

Is a Nazi Treasure Housed in a Swiss Bank?

Once again, there's a stir around the Swiss bank Credit Suisse (CS). The German daily "Bild" now reports that one of the trails is said to lead directly from Argentina to the Swiss bank. Allegedly, a secret account has been in existence there for 78 years, on which the billion-dollar treasure is supposed to have been deposited. Pursuing this money appear to be Nazi heirs, top international lawyers, and the Jewish Simon Wiesenthal Center. The search was triggered by a list discovered by chance in Argentina. This list was found in 1984 by a man named Pedro Filipuzzi during clean-up work in the storage room of the Argentine Banca National de Desarollo in Buenos Aires. It contained German names, dates of birth, and numbers. Additionally, there were entries from German companies that had branches in Argentina in the 1930s and 40s, including Rheinmetall and Thyssen. All individuals made payments to an account of the Banco Transatlantico Aleman, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank.
