A sunny winter's day ends in disaster: At around 1:20 PM, a private helicopter crashes right above a busy ski resort. Two people die, while skiers unknowingly continue to ski just a few meters away – the scenes are like something from a nightmare.
Helicopter Crashes into Power Line – Plunge Directly Above the Slope
The Robinson R44 Raven helicopter was flying low over Aschatli Park in the Perm region when tragedy struck. At a low altitude, the aircraft collided with a metal power line, lost control, and crashed directly above a ski slope. Particularly alarming: A video released by the authorities shows two skiers skiing under the line – seconds before the helicopter plunges. The popular recreational park had to be immediately closed following the accident. Rescue teams cordoned off the area on a large scale.
