An influential cleric has publicly called for the killing of the former U.S. president and has offered a multi-million dollar reward for it. A disturbing threat against Donald Trump is causing a stir in Iran. Leading cleric Mansour Emami, head of the state organization for Islamic Propaganda in the province of West Azerbaijan, openly called for the assassination of the former U.S. president. As a reward, he promised a sum of 100 billion Toman, equivalent to approximately 20.37 million Euros. "We will give 100 billion Toman to the one who brings Trump's head,” Emami declared, according to the news portal Iran International. His statements are based on a fatwa, an Islamic legal opinion, which condemns both Trump and Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu to death. Read more here:
