An unknown airplane was reportedly approaching Munich, and the pilot did not respond to attempts at contact. As the then chief hostess, Silvia was one of the few people who knew about this situation – and she remained silent.

Decades later everything comes to light

Only now, more than five decades later, does Queen Silvia speak about it. In a new German book edition about her life, she confirms for the first time what is supposed to have happened behind the scenes back then. A memory that has never left her - and about which she "had never spoken before."
