What the experience taught her

Bahl, who posts to more than 1.8 million followers, said the ordeal drained her physically, mentally and emotionally but also gave her a new perspective on how fragile and precious life is. She previously described the immediate aftermath of her diagnosis as “nothing short of a nightmare.”

Support at her side

Her husband, plastic surgeon Mike Chiodo, whom she married in August 2023, stepped in to help with her fashion brand The Bar, joined her at appointments and took a larger role in content so she could tell her story. Bahl called the milestone the end of a chapter she will carry forever and shared a message of continued faith and hope.
