On his Centered on Buffalo podcast with retired center Eric Wood, the Buffalo Bills quarterback explained that whenever Hailee reaches to touch his beard or mustache he “barks and snaps” — a reflex he picked up from watching his dad. Allen laughed that the reaction always gets to her but that he can’t help taking the moment when it’s there.

Playful give-and-take

When Wood pressed him about something Hailee does that irritates him, Allen was quick to smile and say there’s nothing — keeping the tone light and affectionate as their marriage nears its first anniversary on May 31.
