A Royal Jam Session

The monarch joined the Loughries Men’s Shed Ukulele Ensemble after they serenaded him, strumming along and exchanging light banter about venues and rehearsals. The Royal Family shared a clip on X with the caption "Growing friendship and connection," and one musician even suggested, "Maybe you can get us into the Palladium!"

Fond Memories and Praise

Charles chuckled and praised the wider ukulele scene, telling the group, "There's a marvelous organization called the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, it's fantastic," according to reports. He accepted an invitation to a future rehearsal and met founder Maurice Patton, who created Ards Allotments in 2006 after being inspired by the King's earlier visit as Prince of Wales.
